On Tuesday 06 May 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis attended the inauguration ceremony of the International Defence and Security Exhibition “Defence Exhibition Athens – DEFEA 2025”, held at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Centre at the International Airport of Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos”, under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence.

On the margins of DEFEA 2025, the Chief toured the pavilions of the exhibition and had bilateral meetings with his counterpart the Chief of Staff of the Saudi Arabian Land Forces Lieutenant General Fahd Bin Saud AI-Juhani, the Director of the Directorate for International Defense Cooperation (SIBAT) Brigadier General (Res.) Yair Kulas, and the Deputy Director of the Armaments Directorate of the French Army B Gen. (Armament) Jean Francois Ripoche.

In the course of the discussions, which were held in an excellent atmosphere, matters of mutual interest, and future cooperation at various fields were discussed.
