On Thursday 11 July 2024, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commander of the 1st ARMY/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, the Commander of D’ Army Corps “THRACE” Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos and the Commander of C’ Army Corps/NRDC-GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS” Lieutenant General Athanasios Garinis, went to the “KANAPITSA” exercise field in Litochoro-Pieria, where the summer training – survival of the Hellenic Army Academy (Evelpidon) is currently conducted.

During the visit, he was briefed on the ongoing summer training of the Academy, he observed part of the training subjects and briefly addressed the Academy’s Cadets.
