On Thursday, 28 June, 2018, in the context of operational training, the final stage of the Field Training Exercise “RAPID CROSSING” at Infantry Battalion Battle Group level was conducted at the D’ Army Corps Floating Assets Training Centre (D’ Army Corps “THRACE”), by personnel of the 7th Mechanised Brigade Units – Independent Sub-Units (7th MECH BRIG “SARANTAPOROS”).
The exercise was attended by the Army Inspector General/HAGS Deputy Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Nikolaos Manouris, the D’ Army Corps Commander Lieutenant General Georgios Kampas, the XII Mechanised Infantry Division “EVROS” Commander, Major General
Dimitrios Koukkos and the 7th MECH BRIG Commander, Brigadier General Ioannis Efstathiou.
The perfect organisation and execution of the exercise as well as the operational readiness of the forces were confirmed.
