From 13 to 15 December 2021, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, paid an official visit to Romania following an invitation from his counterpart, Major General Iulian Berdilă.
During his visit, the Chief met with the Chief of the Romanian General Staff, General Daniel Petrescu and his counterpart, with whom he exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The meetings took place in an excellent atmosphere, confirming the common intent for even more enhanced cooperation between the two sides.
Finally, the Chief HAGS visited the Headquarters Multinational Division South – East / HQ MND-SE, where he was welcomed by the Commander of the Headquarters Multinational Corps South – East / HQ MNC-SE Lieutenant General Tomiță-Cătălin TOMESCU and the Commander of the Headquarters Multinational Division South – East / HQ MND-SE Major General Christian-Daniel DAN and briefed on the mission and activities of the two Formations, as well as on the mission and activities of the ΝΑΤΟ Force Integration Unit /NFIU.
