On Tuesday 19 November 2024, in the Area of Responsibility of the 80 Higher National Guard Battalions Command “KOS”, the Field Exercise With Troops “VALIOS – 2024, The Reconnaissance Squadron during the Surveillance of Coast – Region” was conducted, with the participation of personnel and assets of the 80 Higher National Guard Battalions Command and the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS-LACHANAS”.
During the conduct of the Exercise, coast surveillance procedures were examined along with countering of combined landing and airborne action (elimination of bridgehead and constriction – termination of Air-bridgehead).
The exercise was observed by the Commanding General of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands, Major General Emmanouil Theodorou, who affirmed the operation readiness and high morale of the exercising personnel.
