From 5 to 7 November 2025, the Commander of the Finnish Army, Lieutenant General Pasi Valimaki made an official visit to our country, following an invitation by the Chief of HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis.

On Thursday 6 November 2025, in the framework of the visit, the Chief of HAGS welcomed his counterpart at “PAPAGOS” Army Camp. During the meeting, which took place in an excellent atmosphere, they discussed the reinforcement of the two Armies’ bonds through increasing their bilateral military cooperation actions.

Subsequently, he visited the Hellenic Military Academy, where he was briefed concerning the Academy’s Mission and toured the grounds.

After, he visited the HNDGS/Research Centre for Technological Development and Innovation, where he was briefed concerning its task and mission, toured the Artificial Intelligence and Design Laboratories, and attended a static display of unmanned systems.
