On Tuesday, April 17, 2018 the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the Headquarters of the 1st Raiders – Parachutists Brigade “EL ALAMEIN” at Rentina, Salonica.
The Chief visited the Headquarters, the Unconventional Warfare Training Center and the D’ Raiders Battalion.
In the context of the visit, he attended training activities of the Snipers School, of the Raiders School, as well as training on Raiding subjects of the 2018 B’ Enlistment Series.
Afterwards, he delivered a speech to the personnel, congratulating them for their high morale, the professionalism and the high level of acceptance and affection they enjoy on behalf of the Greek society.
The message conveyed by the Chief to our Raiders is summed up in the phrase:
“We are composed, trained and at a high level of readiness!”
