On Tuesday 24 April 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lt General Alkiviadis Stefanis conducted a visit to Units of the Higher Army Support Military Command, at the “Lt General Vasilios Kapotas” Camp, in Acharnes – Attica, as follows:

305 Technical District Workshop.
725 Technical Battalion.
745 Technical Base.
Land Minefield Clearance Battalion.

The Chief was given a tour of the Units’ facilities, was briefed on their current activities and observed a demonstration of route clearance by the remote controlled MV-4 demining vehicle and innovative devices manufactured by the Battalion’s personnel at a minimum cost.
Furthermore, he discussed with members of the personnel, congratulating them for their high morale, professionalism and the high sense of duty which characterises them, fulfilling their duties successfully, a fact attested daily by the high percentage of acceptance by the Greek society.
HAGS message, “We are Everywhere for the Homeland”, is actually materialised, in the fields of contribution to society and innovation, to cover the needs of the Army, the Armed Forces and our Homeland in general.
