On Tuesday 03 July 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis visited the Material Control Centre, at Agios Stefanos – Attica.
During his visit the Chief was given a tour of the Centre’s facilities. He then gave a speech to the military and civilian personnel during which:
– He made mention of the Centre’s contribution to the upgrade of Logistics, as the central management body of all the Army’s materials and ammunition.
– He gave directions regarding the perspective, the challenges and the role of the Centre, as the information database of the managed materials.
He ascertained the high level of professionalism, the exceptional morale, the optimism and the stoutness characterising the personnel.
