On Thursday 25 September 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commanding General of the 1ST ARMY/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos and the Commanding General of D’ Army Corps “THRAKI” Lieutenant General Panagiotis Kavidopoulos, conducted a visit to the Area of Responsibility of D’ Army Corps.
The Chief was briefed on the conduct of the “PARMENION-25” Field Training Exercise and issued guidelines and directions to the formations’ personnel.
Finally, in the framework of his visit, he went to the “SID. GEFYRAS PYTHIOU” Surveillance Outpost, where he was briefed on its mission and talked with the personnel.
