From 10 to 12 July 2023, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis conducted an official visit to Italy, having been invited by his counterpart, Lieutenant General Pietro Serino.

The Chief of HAGS had a private meeting with his Italian counterpart, with whom he exchanged views on topics of common interest. The meeting was conducted in a very amicable manner and the common desire for even greater strengthening of the two sides’ cooperation was ascertained.

Afterwards, the Chief of HAGS conducted a visit to the Italian Army’s Infantry School and the “Lancieri di Montebello” Regiment, where he was briefed on their mission and activities and was given a tour of their facilities.
