From 27 to 28 June 2018, the Army Inspector General – Deputy Chief of HAGS, Lieutenant General Nikolaos Manouris conducted a visit to the Area of Responsibility of the ΧΙΙ Mechanised Infantry Division (ΧΙΙ MECH INF DIV “EVROS”).
The Army Inspector General visited in particular:
– The HQ of the ΧΙΙ MECH INF DIV “EVROS”.
– Units and Outposts of the 7th and 31st Mechanised Brigades (7 MECH BRIG “SARANTAPOROS” – 31 MECH BRIG “KAMIA”) and of the ΧΧΙΙΙ Armour Brigade (ΧΧΙΙΙ ARM BRIG “3rd CAVALRY REGIMENT – DORYLAION”).
The high level of operational readiness and assets’ functionality, high morale and spirit of attack characterising the personnel were ascertained. Furthermore, it is the personnel which constitutes the Army’s force multiplier.
