On Monday, 07 January 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited “VASILITSA” Outpost in the Municipality of Tempi, Larissa, in the Area of Responsibility of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”.
During his visit, the Chief exchanged wishes with the Outpost garrison for the new year. He praised the high morale and eagerness of the Outpost garrison for its proud service at an altitude of 1035 m.
Finally, the Chief visited the Mayor of Tempi, Mr. Konstantinos Kollatos, who invited him to the City Hall. The Chief thanked the Municipality of Tempi for the excellent cooperation in an area with special terrain and climate conditions and in particular for his contribution to the clearing of the road that leads to the outpost.
