On Tuesday, 08 January 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited a Subunit of a “HAWK” Guided Missile Battalion and the Armour Training Centre in Avlonas, Attica.
The aim of the surprise visit by the Chief was to check the condition of high operational readiness Units cut off as a result of the adverse conditions due to the heavy snowfall.
The visits conformed the immediate reaction of the personnel.
