On Holy Thursday, 05 April 2018, on the occasion of the Holy Week and the Holy Easter, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the Areas of Responsibility of D Army Corps “Thraki” Formations.
More specifically, he visited the Area of Responsibility of the XVI Mechanised Infantry Division “Didymotiho”, the Area of Responsibility of the XII Mechanised Infantry Division “Evros”, and the Area of Responsibility of the 50th Mechanised Infantry Brigade “Apsos.”
The Chief exchanged wishes with the personnel of Outposts on our eastern border, as well as with National Guardsmen of the local National Guard Battalions of Lavara, Tyhero, and Feres.
