On Wednesday, 17 April 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas, visited the Headquarters and Units of the 95th Higher National Guard Battalions Command, the Surveillance Outposts on Halki island, and the Island Defence Command of Tilos, accompanied by the Commanding General of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands.
During his visit, the Chief:
– was briefed on current activities.
– visited Camp and Unit installations and all Surveillance Outposts on Rhodes, Halki, and Tilos islands.
– inspected the assigned Readiness Troops.
– attended training activities.
– met with representatives of the local authorities.
– addressed and provided guidelines to the personnel.
