From 02 to 03 October 2024, within the framework of the Tactical Exercise Without Troops “ALEXANDROS-24”, the  Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commander of the 1st Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstandakos and the Commander of the D’ Army Corps “THRAKI” Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, visited the Area of Responsibility of the D’ Army Corps “THRAKI”.

In particular, he visited Formations, where he was briefed on the exercise being conducted, military facilities and Surveillance Outposts.

In addition, the Chief attended the inauguration ceremony for a new Greek flag pole at the Surveillance Outpost “5”, which was donated by EUROBANK Group.
