The Hellenic Army General Staff, within the framework of development, innovation, and high level technical support, proceeded in July 2018 to the signing of an MoU with the University of Thessaly in the headquarters of the 304th Forward Base Plant.

A delegation of the University, headed by the dean, Mr. Georgios Petrakos, visited the 304th Forward Base Plant, was given a tour of the Plant’s facilities, and was briefed on the Army’s constant efforts to upgrade its assets.

The aim of the MoU between the Plant and the University is to develop a co-operation, improve the specialised training and the provision of services by the two bodies, as well as exchange experience and means for the mutual use of the results of their common research.
