From 23 to 25 April 2024, Artillery Units of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” conducted RΜ-70 Multiple Rocket Launcher Unit Fire Training at the Petrota Range in Rodopi.

The training focused on cooperation with Counter-Battery Radars and included dynamic targeting procedures, utilising the capabilities of existing “SPERWER” UASs and UAVs. The activity also included a competition among participating RΜ-70 Multiple Rocket Launcher Units.

The training was attended by the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, and the Commanding General of D Army Corps “THRAKI”, Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos.
