On Friday, November 9th 2018, a scientific meeting was held at the amphitheatre of 401 Army General Hospital of Athens, in the presence of the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis.
The meeting was co-organized by the 417 Share Fund Army Hospital and the Medical School. The subject of the meeting was “Dealing with War Trauma”, and was attended by distinguished scientists, members of the academic community, rescuers of the National Emergency Aid Center (EKAB), as well as medical personnel of the Army and the Air Force.
The Chief delivered a speech, during which he referred to:
–     the constant effort made by the Army for the procurement of medical equipment and the logistics upgrading of the Army Hospitals;
–    the conduct of training with the use of modern means and innovative ideas, which reduce the cost required and increase the training result.
This scientific meeting forms part of a series of actions that will continue unabated throughout the Year of Personnel Welfare. They aim at informing and educating human resources in health issues, as well as upgrading the medical services provided by the Army.
