On Friday, 19 November 2021, a ceremony was held at the Infantry Reserve Officer School at DASKALOGIANNI Camp in Heraklion, Crete, for the graduation of the 2021 D Enlistment Series Potential Reserve Officers.
Graduates included 47 Infantry, Special Forces, and Finance Corps Potential Reserve Officers from Greece, as well as 69 Infantry and Special Forces Potential Reserve Officers from Cyprus.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, the Chief of Cypriot National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, and representatives from local authorities.
The ceremony was followed by a memorial service for honorary Lieutenant General Grigoris Afxentiou and a wreath laying ceremony at his memorial in the School.
