From 22 to 24 March 2022, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis participated in the 8th European Land Forces Commanders Forum, which was conducted in the premises of EUROCORPS, in Strasbourg – France.
The main subject of the Forum was “Co-operations, Integrations: Towards a Stronger Europe”. More specifically, crises management and the contribution of European Armies in European security, crises prevention through the establishment of alliances with third countries, as well as issues of interoperability were discussed.
In the context of the Forum, the Chief conducted bilateral meetings with the Commander of USAREUR-AF General Christopher Cavoli, as well as with his counterparts from France General Pierre Schill, Italy Lieutenant General Pietro Serino, the Netherlands Lieutenant General Martin Wijnen and Romania Major General Iulian Berdilă. During the meetings, conducted very amicably, issues of common interest were discussed.
