From 12 August to 13 September 2024, the Parachutists’ Basic Training School was carried out at the headquarters of the Parachutists’ School in Aspropyrgos, Attika with the participation of 41 members of the Army, of which 1 Officer and 40 NCOs, 52 Conscripts and 2 Hellenic Police NCOs.

The course included the following tasks:

Physical strengthening.
Parachutist PT.
Jumps from 34-feet tower.
Emergency procedures during performance of jumps.
Procedure of exit from aircraft.
Jumps from a CH-47D helicopter and a C-130 aircraft.

On Friday 13 September 2024, the ceremony for the award of degrees and Parachutist wing insignia to School graduates took place at the Parachutists’ Basic Training School, in the presence of the Director of HAGS Special Forces Directorate Major General Ioannis Korelis.
