e opening ceremony of Military League Championship Games of the Armed Forces Military Academies and the Security Forces for the year 2018 was held at the Headquarters of the Military Academy, at Vari, Attica, on Monday 26 March 2018.
The Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis declared the opening of the Games, representing the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN.
Delegations of the Armed Forces and the Security Forces, as well as delegates from state and the religious authorities were present at the ceremony.
In the context of his visit to the Headquarters of the Military Academy, the Chief of HAGS also had the opportunity to speak with students of Military Academies from Holland, Italy, Rumania, Poland attending  the Military Erasmus program, which started on 28 February 2018 and is ending on 13 June 2018.
