On Tuesday, 15 December 2020, the oath-taking ceremony of first year cadets, Class of 2024 “Captain (Eng) Sotirios Stavriannakos”, was held at the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) in Vari, Attica.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, and the Army Inspector General – Commander of the Doctrine and Training Command, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Koutras.
A total of 192 first year cadets took the oath, of which 166 from Greece, 19 from Cyprus, 3 from Tunisia, 2 from Montenegro, 1 from Bosnia-Herzegovina, and 1 from Albania.
