On Friday 18 October 2024, the oath-taking ceremony of first year students of the Class of 2027 took place in the Career NCO School in Trikala and was attended by the Inspector General of the Army – Commanding General of Military Training, Lieutenant General Spyridon Alfandakis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis.

The Ceremony was also attended by MPs for Trikala Mr. Konstandinos Skrekas and Ms. Marina Kodotoli, the Metropolitan of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersala, Mr. Timotheos, who officiated the Ceremony, Brigadier General (HAF) Xenophon Zervos as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, Commander Lambros Kolokotronis HN as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras HN, the Deputy Head of Region for Trikala, Ms. Chrysa Didi, representatives of Local Government, active duty and retired Officers, as well as guests and families of the oath taking first year cadets.

In total, 125 first year cadets took the oath, of which 93 from Greece, 31 from Cyprus, and 1 from Georgia.
