The oath-taking ceremonies of 2026 A Enlistment Series Newly Recruited Soldiers took place on Friday, 20 March 2026.

The oath-taking ceremony at the Newly Recruited Soldier Training Centre of Avlonas of the Armour Training Centre was attended by the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikos Dendias, accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis.

The oath-taking ceremonies took place in the presence of Army General Officers, as representatives of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, state and religious authorities, as well as family members of the soldiers.
