On Friday, 22 December 2022, the oath-taking ceremonies of newly enlisted Professional Soldiers of the Army from the reserve list took place at the Armour Training Centre – Newly Recruited Soldier Training Centre in Avlonas, Attica, and the Special Forces Training Centre – Newly Recruited Soldier Training Centre in Nea Peramos, Attica.

The ceremony at the Armour Training Centre – Newly Recruited Soldier Training Centre was attended by the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Director of the Armour Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Brigadier General Aristidis Kavarlingos.

The ceremony at the Special Forces Training Centre – Newly Recruited Soldier Training Centre was attended by the Director of the Special Forces Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Brigadier General Christos Spanidis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis.

The oath-taking ceremonies took place in the presence of active duty Armed and Security Forces officers, as well as friends and family members of the newly enlisted Professional Soldiers.

A total of 117 Arms and Corps and 12 Special Forces Professional Soldiers took the oath.
