From Monday 24 to Friday 28 May 2021, a national competition among Tank Platoons was held at the Tank Firing Range, Litochoro.
Their crews competed each other in executing firings, conducting offensive and defensive operations, determining target distance and in the call for artillery fire. The first place among the competing Units was taken by the 50th Medium Tank Battalion (50th MTB), the second and the third places by the 26th MTB and the 34th MTB respectively.
During the competition, the effort, the passion and the knowledge on the subjects by the contestants, as well as the high level of training and operational readiness of the personnel, were displayed.
