On Monday, October 22nd 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, met the US Army Europe Commanding General, Lieutenant General Christopher Cavoli.
During his visit to HAGS, Lieutenant General Cavoli met the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Panos Kammenos, and they discussed issues of mutual interest. Amongst others, they discussed the following:
– Ways to further strengthen the cooperation on Training and Exercise issues (i.e. through the interconnection of the Simulation Centres);
– Increasing the forces’ battle readiness; and
– Enhancing interoperability in the field of operations.
