On Friday, 05 April 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Hellenic National Defence College, where he gave a lecture to the students of the College’s 76th Training Class.

In his lecture, the Chief stressed that the Hellenic Army General Staff lays particular importance on the training of Army personnel, focusing on the Academies and Application Schools, while at the same time underlining the fact that a special pillar of training is the participation in international exercises, in Greece and abroad. He also referred to the Army’s participation in NATO and European Union missions, as well as the great role of innovation in the modern environment.

Finally, he prompted the students, upon their graduation from the Hellenic National Defence College, to effectively support the leadership of the Armed and Security Forces.
