From 16 to 18 October 2024, Greek and American Helicopter Sections underwent joint training at the Army Aviation Training Centre, in Alexandria, Imathia. Assets and crews of the 1^st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS LAHANA”, the Army Aviation Training Centre, and the 24^th Marines Expeditionary Unit of the US Marine Corps participated in the training.

The joint training included subjects of specialised helicopter tactics during day and night, and took place in the broader region of Central Macedonia. During the joint training, the foundations were laid for future participation of other units of the US Marine Corps in joint trainings of the Army Aviation Training Centre.
