On Tuesday, 12 July 2022, a ceremony was held at Camp “TAGMATARHI (MX) MIHAIL LEVENTI”in Sindos, Thessaloniki, for the induction of 5 Engineer Machinery to the Hellenic Army (of which 2 for the Hellenic Air Force), which were acquired with funding from the 2014-2022 NSRF Programme (valued at €977,306) of the Region of Central Macedonia.

The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Region of Central Macedonia, Mr. Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the Metropolitan of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, Mr. Varnavas, the Commanding General of C Army Corps/NRDC–GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS“, Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou, the Deputy Head of Region for Thessaloniki, Ms. Voula Patoulidou, the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Georgios Kyriakidis as representative of the Mayor of the Municipality of Delta, and Armed and Security Forces officers.
