From Tuesday, 04 June, to Friday, 07 June 2019, 4th class cadets of the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) visited the Headquarters of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “AHILLEAS” and the Area of Responsibility of D Army Corps “THRAKI”.
During their visit to the Headquarters of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “AHILLEAS” on Tuesday, 04 June 2019, they were briefed on its work and activities, as well as on the mission of the Hellenic EU Operational Headquarters (EU-OHQ).
From 05 to 07 June 2019, the cadets visited the Area of Responsibility of D Army Corps and in particular:
– The Headquarters of D Army Corps “THRAKI” in Xanthi.
– The Headquarters of the XII Mechanised Infantry Division “EVROU”.
– The Headquarters of the XVI Mechanised Infantry Division “DIDYMOTIHOU” in Didymotiho.
– The Headquarters of the 50th Mechanised Brigade “APSOS” in Soufli.
– Outposts “KIPON”, “1”, and “GEFYRAS”.
The 4th class cadet field trip is the capping stone of the training provided by the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon).
