On Monday 15 September 2025, in the presence of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Choupis, accompanied by the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, at the “ZORBAS” Camp, the handover ceremony of the Commanding General of the Higher Army Support Military Command “THISEAS”, from Lieutenant General Dimitrios Vakentis to Major General Antonios Theodosiadis was conducted.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of His Eminence the Metropolitan Bishop of Kesariani, Vyronas and Ymittos Mr Daniil, the former Minister of Citizen’s Protection and Honorary Chief of HAGS General (ret.) Charalambos Lalousis, the Honorary Chief of HAGS General (ret.) Georgios Kambas, the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios–Eleftherios Kataras HN, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, members of the Supreme Military Council, representatives of the Chiefs of the Hellenic Police, Hellenic Port Authority – Coastguard and the Hellenic Fire Service, active and retired Officers and other guests.
