On Wednesday 05 June 2024, the Commander of Land Forces of Saudi Arabia, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, made a formal visit to our country, upon invitation of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis. During the meeting, which was conducted in an excellent climate, they discussed the enhancement of the bilateral cooperation between the two Armies through:

– The exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.

– The examination of the progress of already agreed upon activities.

– The search for new areas and fields of cooperation.

Afterwards, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, who was accompanied by the Director of the Hellenic Army Aviation Directorate, Major General Ioannis Himarios, visited Camp “Andrea Kallinski”, where a demonstration of the capabilities of special operations forces took place, in the presence of the Commanding General of the Special Warfare Command, Lieutenant General Prokopios Mavraganis.
