From Monday 23 to Friday 27 April 2018, the Fires of Tanks of the Basic Training Department of the Armour 2nd Lieutenants of the Class 2017 were conducted at the Tanks Firing Range in Xanthi, which they constitute the capstone of the young officers’ training.
All the stipulated fires were conducted, from immobile and mobile tanks, during day and night.
The fires were observed by the Commander of the 1st Army / EU-OHQ “Achilles”, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis. The superiority of the modern tanks of the Army was ascertained, along with the confidence and high morale of the crews operating them.
