Thursday, 20 November 2025, was Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day) of Field Exercise “TALOS 25”, which took place at the National Urban Warfare Operations Centre of Excellence at Camp “KOROMILA” in Argyroupoli, Kilkis, in the presence of the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, and the Commanding General of the Supreme Military Command of Epirus and Macedonia/NRDC-GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS”, Lieutenant General Athanasios Garinis, with troops and assets of the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, the 71^st Airmobile Brigade “PONTOS”, and the 1^st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS LAHANAS”.

The exercise took place from 11 to 20 November 2025, within the framework of the activities of the Multinational Battle Group HELBROC BG, which is a rapid reaction force for crisis response. The exercise included forces from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, the Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia.

The objective of the exercise was to enhance interoperability at national and multinational level between the Hellenic EU Operations Headquarters (EL EU-OHQ) and the Hellenic EU Forces HQ (EL EU FHQ) at the 71^st Airmobile Brigade “PONTOS” on crisis management operations.

The final phase of the exercise was attended by:

• The Metropolitan of Polyani and Kilkis Mr. Vartholomeos.
• The Director of the Political Office of the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Thanasis Davakis, Mr. Evripidis Tsakiridis.
• Captain Dimitrios Patsikas HN as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff.
• Colonel (HAF) Orestis Faldamis as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff.
• The Deputy Head of Region for the Regional Unit of Kilkis Mr. Andreas Vergidis.
• The Deputy Mayor of Kilkis Mr. Dimitrios Theodoridis.
• Active duty and retired Armed and Security Forces Officers, representatives of the participating nations, and accredited journalists.
