Wednesday, 19 June 2019, was the Distinguished Visitors Day for exercise “STRIKE BACK/BS/BRE -19” which was conducted from 06 to 20 June 2019 at the Novo Selo Training Area (NSTA) in Bulgaria, in which the Hellenic Army participated with personnel and assets of the XXV Armoured Brigade and the 1st Army Aviation Brigade.
Greece was represented by the Greek Ambassador in Bulgaria, Mr. Grigorios Vasilokonstantakis, the Commanding General of D Army Corps “THRAKI”, Lieutenant General Haralambos Lalousis, the Commanding General of the XX Armoured Division, Major General Antonios Hatzigeorgiou, and the Commanding General of the XXV Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Georgios Triantis.
The exercise took place in an excellent atmosphere of cooperation among the cooperating forces from various countries.
