On Thursday, 15 August, 2019, the Feast of the Dormition of Theotokos was celebrated in the Monastery of Panagia Soumela, on Mt. Vermio. The celebration was attended by H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos, accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kampas, who attended the celebration representing the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.
