On Wednesday, 17 April 2024, within the framework of the Philhellenism and International Solidarity Day, an exhibition titled “The Philhellenes and their Contribution to the Nation’s Struggles” took place at the Larissa Officers’ Club, in the presence of the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos.

The exhibition included exhibits from the personal collection of private collector Colonel Vasilios Nikoltsios (ret.), as well as exhibits from the area of Thessaly kindly loaned by the Folklore and Historical Museum of Larissa.

The purpose of the exhibition was to highlight the moral and material contribution of Philhellenes before and during the 1821 Greek War of Independence.

The event was attended by honorary Chiefs of Cypriot National Guard General Staff, active duty and retired Armed and Security Forces Officers, and other guests.
