On 07 and 08 May 2021, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Charalambos Laloussis visited the
Area of Responsibility of the D Army Corps (D Army Corps “THRAKI”) and he attended also the Distinguished Visitors Day
of the multinational exercise “DEFENDER EUROPE” conducted at the Port of Alexandroupoli.

During his travel, the Chief visited Formations, Units, Surveillance Outposts and military premises and he confirmed the
high levels of the operational readiness and the morale of the personnel and exchanged greetings with them.
