On 16 August 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kampas visited Units and Surveillance Outposts in the Area of Responsibility of the XII Mechanized Infantry Division, accompanied by the Commander of the Division Major General Angelos Choudeloudis.
During his visit, he attended the activation and deployment of the Readiness Troops and he also evaluated their operational readiness.
The Chief attended the rapid reaction of the troops and confirmed the personnel’s high level of training, readiness and morale.
