On 3 and 4 January 2023, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, visited the Area of Responsibility of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”.

More specifically, on 3 January 2023, the Chief, accompanied by the Commanding General of D Army Corps “THRAKI”, Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, visited Formations, military installations, and Surveillance Outposts in the Corps’s Area of Responsibility.

Then, on 4 January 2023, accompanied by the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, and the Commanding General of C Army Corps, Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou, he visited the headquarters of the 9th Motorised Infantry Brigade “ANDRIANOUPOLI”, as well as Groups and Surveillance Outposts in the Formation’s Area of Responsibility.

During his visit, the Chief confirmed the high operational readiness level and morale of the personnel and exchanged wishes with them for the new year.
