On Thursday, 11 April 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Area of Responsibility of the 96th Higher National Guard Battalions Command “HIOS”.
During his visit, the Chief was briefed on the Formation’s mission and operational and training activities, and visited Units, military installations, and a number of Surveillance Outposts and Logistics installations.
The Chief gave a short address, provided guidelines to the Formation personnel, and stressed the importance of mission command. Finally, he congratulated the personnel for their work.
