On Good Monday, 06 April 2026, the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commanding General of the Supreme Military Command of the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean “AEGEUS”, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Vakentis, visited the Area of Responsibility of the 80th Higher National Guard Battalion “KOS”.

Specifically, the Chief went to Camp “OIKONOMOU PIZANIA”, on the island of Kalymnos, where he visited the Headquarters of the 5/42 Evzone Regiment and the Kalymnos National Guard Battalion. Subsequently, he went to the islet of Pserimos, where he visited the “PSERIMOS” Surveillance Outpost. Finally, the Chief visited Camp “KONSTANTINOU PALAIOLOGOU XI”, the Headquarters of the 282nd Mechanised Infantry Battalion.

During his visits, the Chief gave a brief address, provided guidelines, congratulated the personnel on its work, and exchanged wishes with them in view of the Easter holidays.
