On Wednesday, 30 December 2020, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalampos Lalousis, accompanied by the Commanding General of the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ “AHILLEAS”, Lieutenant General Vasilios Papadopoulos, and the Commanding General of the I Infantry Division “SMYRNI”, Major General Konstantinos Gounaris, visited the Headquarters and Units of the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS-LAHANAS”, the 32nd Marine Brigade “MORAVAS”, the XXIV Armoured Brigade “1o SYNTAGMA IPPIKOU – FLORINA”, and the 1st Raider – Parachutist Brigade “EL ALAMEIN”.
During his visit, the Chief confirmed the high morale of the personnel, thanked them for their work in 2020 in all areas, and exchanged wishes with them in view of the New Year’s Day.
