On Friday 06 July 2018, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis paid a visit to the Armour School at Avlona, Attica, where he delivered a speech to the trainee Armour Second Lieutenants of the Military Academy Classes 2016 and 2017.
In his speech, the Chief made an extensive reference to a sequence of personal experiences and events which he experienced during his career.  The Chief’s aim was for the new Armour Second Lieutenants to draw inspiration, shape perceptions and gain knowledge which will contribute to the beginning of their glorious career in the Army.
The Armour Second Lieutenants of the Military Academy Class 2016 completed their training at the Armour School and they received a Travel Order for the Armour Units.
We wish to the new Officers, to continue their efforts and succeed in their new duties in the Units they are assigned at.
