On Thursday, 30 May 2019, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kambas, inspected the Readiness Troops of Surveillance Outposts in the Area of Responsibility of D Army Corps “THRAKI”.
The Chief stressed the importance of the realistic training of readiness troops and provided guidelines for constant testing and exercises with scenarios based on real combat conditions.
The visit confirmed the high readiness level of the Surveillance Outposts, the proper condition of assets, and the excellent morale of the personnel, who are the main force multiplier and the most important element of the Hellenic Army’s deterrent capability.
