On Sunday, 11 March 2018, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the Area of Responsibility of the XII Mechanised Infantry Division “EVROS”, where he attended an exercise conducted by the National Guard Battalion of Alexandroupoli.
The exercise was conducted within the framework of the operational training of National Guard Battalion personnel.
The Chief had the opportunity to confirm the excellent organisation and conduct of the activity.
